Samford Group exists because we believe this work matters. Not just economically, but fundamentally. The act of creating through our ideas and execution carries an inherent spiritual weight. We are building culture. We are creating order from disorder. We are fostering human flourishing.
We started Samford Group with one conviction: engineering is overdue for a better way of doing business. Timelines as commitments. Every line on a plan with a dollar sign behind it. The same team that answers the phone stamps the plans.
We exist to streamline and optimize creation in the context of land development across Alabama and Georgia.

Samford Group is based in Auburn, Alabama at 2449 Moores Mill Road, Suite 120. We serve developers across Alabama and Georgia, with active projects in Auburn, Opelika, Lee County, Phenix City, Montgomery, Columbus (GA), and other markets throughout both states.
Yes. Our team holds active Professional Engineering and Land Surveying licenses in both Alabama and Georgia. We can serve development projects across both states without delays or third-party coordination at the state line.
Samford Group was founded in 2022 as a new firm — not acquired or inherited. We built the company from the ground up with a specific focus on serving residential and commercial developers through a phased process that prioritizes value engineering, timeline commitments, and developer-first communication.
No. We design, engineer, and survey — we don't build. That separation is intentional. As your engineer of record, we work exclusively in your interest — not a contractor's schedule or a builder's margin. Our job is to get your project approved, permitted, and ready for construction.
